Yea , so Dec started off where I was winning again but at lower stakes , then on Friday Dec 14th I go to log into my act and get this message below .

           Really ? We just went through the Black Friday Thing with Full Tilt and my $1,500.00 is still locked up  and now this . So I go to the link find another preferred partner which is Carbon Poker on the Merge Network  , I setup a new act there then Email there Support. And wait , hmm nothing so Email them again and again then they send me a follow up LKblahblah blah ref # and wait .So finally like three days later they transfer all my funds but then I have to ask about the 35% Rakeback I was getting from RPM . And same thing wait then a couple days later They say I have my RakeBack 35% and vip points transferred . I hope things are settled for now . And at least I am still able to grind some poker . Sugar Ray Concert And some Poker

So Sugar Ray is a 90's band that came to Spirit Mtn Casino Friday Night. The wife and I went for the weekend and had a blast , great seats 10rows back and in the middle . For Mark Macrath being 44years old he did a great job . He likes Boxing so he named his Band Sugar Ray After Leonard . They play songs from one end of the spectrum to the other.

     After the concert wife went and played the slots and I played some $1-3nl . Only bought in for $120.00 made around $135.00 then stopped for the night . Next day we did some outlet shopping in Lincoln City Oregon , then went out on the beach for a short time it was cold, and  ran back up to get a spanish coffee to warm us up.  Then went and played more poker lost about the amount I won the day before so broke about even.

So one amazing thing I seen at the table was this hand . I put it in the replayer might not be 100% exact stack sizes , but the guy with the best Hand mucked  it on mistake.
                     
Well The guy with two pr K/3 said on the turn really all-in? you on a draw? And the other guy says nope I don't need the draw I have the best hand your on the draw. So the guy calls and river comes 3 and he yells yea full house baby , Well the guy mucks his 10's full and the guy with 3s full pulls in pot and says what did you have ? And the guy says, well I had you beat till the river , I had a set of tens .LOL everyone at the table is like nooooo Wayyyyyy? You had the best hand and the guy says no I just had three tens . And we say ,yea you filled up 10s full lol so the look on his face is like what the heck did I just do. And the guy said you really had pocket tens ? And he said yep. So the guy says here man we chop it , the guy said no it's my own fault I mucked them .No I am fine  . Then the dealer says you can't give him your chips you have to do that outside the table . So the guy pulls out a $100.00 bill and says sir here man I feel horrible .

 The gentleman said no son, thanks but my fault . So he buys back in for like $70.00 and losses it pretty soon after . And the guy said ok good playing take care but the other guy refused and said sit back down I want you to play . here's $100.00 and kept arguing so the guy finally says I'm not gonna refuse the tenth time so he sits back . He gets QQ about ten hands later and loses but left very plesantley . The other guy was a recreational player just having a good time also he played almost every pot, well prob every pot lol . He was up to like $800.00 at one point and was so happy, he's like look at this, look at all these chips how does this happen. But later on about an hour he had about $400.00 or less . I wish I could have stayed longer.

But in the back of my mind I was thinking ,would feel kind of bad to felt such a good hearted person . We all told him when he was giving the guy the $100.00 none of us even seen his hand . But everyone thought for sure the guy had 10s ,the way he took his ball cap off and turn beat red when we were telling him he had the best hand lol. So if you ever get in a showdown playing live poker be sure to just flip those cards over next to you unless you know 110% for sure you have lost . I did something like this similar a few years ago. About a $50.00 pot the guy says he has two pair and I just paired my A with a Q kicker, but me not paying attention that the board had a pair on it I mucked my cards . Then right after that i'm thinking what the heck did I just do. Never told anyone at the table lol. Christmas is already here

So November is over and done . Went ugh ok I guess , and just got a check in the mail from Merge so ended up buying a 24" tv/ monitor sweet.

   So, I have my 17.3" laptop and my new 24" monitor to play online with.

And had a little extra left over to Buy a Sound bar with a subwoofer for the 42" tv I bought with my last poker check.

 So feels like Christmas has already come for me , now I need to start shopping for the wife and kids lol.

Boost up the Bankroll

Well, I used up some of my VIP Points to enter this $11.00 tourney and Ran deep, placed 3rd out of 163 players  for $240.00 which will help the Bankroll a little bit . Other than that my cash game sessions this month are still not going to well . But I feel the cards will start holding for me soon. I have a hard time staying positive but I have been using my 3 buyin stop loss rule this month and that has helped a bunch . You can always win back 3 buyins within a day or two , but if you just keep getting stuck in a 6-7 buyin session it's tough to make it back up later I have noticed at least for myself ..

I Also got in the money on a few other ones with using my VIP points this  month.

So have had some good relaxing time playing the MTT's well i'm not grinding the cash tables . I am pretty much totally frustrated with the game right now. I haven't done this bad in a year. I am so upset with the game right now I have changed hand opening  ranges, tried everything I know. But can't win lately . I totally have lost my self confidence at the tables seems I lose period doesn't matter what I do period . Beginning of last month I was up pretty good than shit went right down hill . The table selection sucks right now and I am also having to play 6max which sucks ass poker . Guess it doesn't matter though cuzz I have sucked lately. i am taking out $300.00 to buy a bigger monitor maybe two 24" ones not sure yet . But have to play 10nl right now until I build my shit bankroll that I have left back up. Not much else to say but I really hate poker right now and have never felt this way before about it . One thing I am doing if I get bad beat at the table is to instantly stop and do 15 situps before I get back up and play again lol . So at least I am getting a lot of exercise in since I get bad beat almost every hand now . Hope everyone else's game is going going way better than mine. Chris : ( :(

Poker for this month started out really well but the last two days kicked my butt so I am only up a little right now . Just wish the cards would hold when Im favored 72% plus on the turn and then the horrible player catches ugh one of those months.

Well Like I said I have been working on my Sons Vw Bus with him and not spending too much time at the tables . And when you come back to playing at least for me seems like I don't like to lay down hands and play more hands and get myself in tough spots alot. So Last month I ended up playing 38,843 hands but had my worst losing month ever . Which I haven't had too many losing months at all I should prob figure out how many winning ones and losing ones total I have had . Like a Football team record WINS and LOSSES lol . So I dropped down to 10nl until I get my Bankroll back to $600.00 then will be back at 25nl tables I am at around $554.00 right now. One cool note is I played the VIP Last Sunday of the month tourney And got into the money

Not a big win But 1st placed paid $550.00 there were 298 players I came in 16th for $20.00 So felt good about getting deep  Just ended up having chipstack pretty low and QQ utg shipped it and guy called pre with KK oh well at least he didnt have Ace rag and hit . Other than that just gotta start winning .

July & Aug where did it go ???

So, The last two months I have not played much at all with summertime and helping my 15yr old with his 1964 Vw bus we are trying to fix up for him. It's pretty much a rust bucket, but he is exited hoping to get it running soon . Poker I played a whooping 6,411 hands in July and 1,208 hands in August pretty sad . Hope to start getting more hands in this month . It is very important to stay on top of your game to play good solid disciplined poker . Breaks from the game are great but you should be studying your HH's and learning how you can play better poker during those breaks. Training, training, training is key to success at anything you want to get good at. I can't really think of anything else at the moment to write about . I'm sure most everyone knows Pokerstars Finally put out a statement saying that they purchased Full Tilt  http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/ .When and if we will get our money is still uncertain but myself and others I am sure, are totally happy that a great Co like Pokerstars did purchase them. I hope everyone is winning lots of money and keep studying the game we all love so much .

Vegas

So we are back from our road trip to Vegas. It went well, the drive was long but was fun. Spent a lot of family time Going all over Vegas . We also watched the Blue Man Group which was great and very entertaining and interactive . One thing if you ever do go to Vegas be sure not to leave out Old Vegas Freemont st. Every Friday night they have like two or three live bands playing and every hour they have a tribute to a band on the Worlds largest LED screen . The Doors tribute was playing when we were there , way cool.

So as far as poker went , Well

Just had a couple hands in big pots where I might have been able to lay down but was getting like 3to 1 and basically it ends up being 2 1/4 Buyins down for the trip.

The temp was usually around 110-112 deg FH ,almost every day which was nice when Playing in the Pool or Lazy river but if you got out and sat in the lounge chairs after 5-10 minutes your completely dry and ready to go back in the water. Seen a Dancing Drunkiin Santa Claus , A dancing guy dressed up in a bikini and high heels , a guy dressed up as Gene Simmons of Kiss about 8' tall lots of Elvis's and other crazy stuff lol . Always very entertaining at Freemont st and the Strip in Vegas. So did lots of things, spent lots of money and had a great time , wish I did better at the live games and wish I could have played more sessions , next time there's always next time . The Road To Vegas

So we are on the road to go Vegas .We have stopped to visit family in California for a few days then will we be headed to Vegas for a week stay . I thought it was going to be two weeks but wife says no, She never told me that lol yea ok lol . But it is good to visit with family that we have not seen in a few years. I will be trying my luck at the cash tables at the Wsop , I have around $1,000.00 that I won online I will be using so will try my luck at $1-$2 Tables . I think I will just take two buyins with me each time so that way if I lose them I will have to stop . My plan is to have a buyin on the table and one in my pocket so I can keep my stack topped off .

We have driven about 12 1/2 hours to stop and visit family . From here it will be about another 8 hour road trip to Vegas.

And we will be staying at the Tahiti Village just about a 1/4 mile south of the welcome to Vegas sign

And theres a Lazy River which I usually just hang there and keep floating around in circles lol.

Anyway, I will let you guys know if I win a little or lose the $1,000.000 there .But it's just fun to walk Around and see all the Poker Tables and pro Players at the Rio. It's been 2 years since We were down here Can't wait to get sun burned ouchhhhhhhh lol. Take care thanks for reading. Chris

"Tourneys" Is that my game ???

LOL , so Merge put a new 6.0 Version out that I think is god awful . I think it started Tuesday and Merge was down for most the day then Weds for hours it was down then ugh Glitch after glitch . I wonder if they even did a beta testing with some poker players, If so they didn't do a very good job with it.The lobby looks so Generic now and I could just rant on and on but I wont . Anyway Merge put on A $10,000 Gurantee tourney Sunday today for anyone who had made at least one VIP point in the last 14days to show there Thank you  . There was 6,751 players that joined and me. I was working on our Suv have to change the transfer case and u joints, ugh I hate vehicles . Anyway my friend calls me and says why are you sitting out your not playing? I said oh forgot I had registered for it . So went inside for a break I attempted to play Loose agg crazy poker to get knocked out so I could go back to work on the car. Lol ,But one of the chip leaders at my table was mad at me . He was calling me a donk when I 3bet allin on him with k10o from the Blinds and he calls with A6o And I spike 1010 on flop . Ugh hold on? who called my  all in with that Ace rag hand and he calls me a donk lol. Then I just said screw it, gonna play now . So how did I do? I cashed and got deep but not Deep enough to win the $1,460.90 feels good  to get  as far as I did.

Only $7.00 but 160th place out of 6,751 other players not too shabby. Just wish I coulda doubled up one more time then I would have had a good chance to the Final Table. Next time, theres always Next time. Cash games last week was very few hands played because I didn't trust the site when it kept lagging out . I am sure in a week or two it should be dialed in again . The Good The Bad The Ugly

LOl , So It's June I worked two 12 hour shifts two days straight . So June 1st I woke up played and lost $160.00 . June 2nd woke up and lost $200.00 . Playing when your tired and unfocused can make you play poorly and call down light too much also at 50nl it goes fast hehe. June 3rd  around a little after midnight I was refreshed and won back $56.00 then went to bed because I knew I had to be up in time to play the $109.00 ticket I won for the Sunday $150,000.00 Guarantee . I really did't have a good feeling of winning anything since I had just cashed for $80.00 in a MTT tourney I just played a week or two ago .They say you will usually get in the money about every 18 MTT tourneys even great players. So I got up registered for it and we ended up with 1,115 players paid 117 places or better . So Where did I place? Did I get in the money? Am I that lucky?

So I came in 23rd out of 1,115 players for a win of $975.00 weeeeeeeeee . Wish I could have held on a little longer to  take the win for $28,000.00 but oh well I'm happy with my results. Ok so Merge has on the last Sunday of every month freerolls you can play depending on how many vip's you have earned. So I have earned enough to enter the $2,000 which doesn't require you to use the vip points on them to enter so wont effect your Rakeback manager. So Last night I was doing a little skyping with one of the Top 25NL & 50NL winners. I actually met him well I was playing online . I seen that he was a very good player and winner so I started chatting with him at the online tables . Yes, he responded when I asked if he would coach , he gave me his Skype name So we have talked a few times but last night he was going over some hands I had played and told me how he would have played them. I think like out of about ten hands only one he said well done lol . And gave me some other pointers , then later on he said he has coached friends and sweated them and they do so well when he is there telling them how he would play the hands then after he leaves they start playing horrible again .He says he feels like hes not helping anyone. Well I feel like when you teach a dog to catch a frisbee he doesn't catch it on the first time, it takes a while for him to catch on . Yes I will catch on :) .
So after we get all done like at 3:45am,  I told him I would pay him for sweats or coaching , he says nah man something else. What something else? He said  It will be " Your Lifelong fee to me" so he told me to go to
"Click to give" I look at it and say to him ? You want me to give them $35.00 ? he says nah man it's free . You register, then register for the Reminder so you can click on them once a day. He says they send an email so every morning he gets up checks email clicks on them  and that's it. I said what about all the ads below they send me crap? He said nah man only one email that's it. So If you guys are reading this it only takes a few minutes to sign up for it , it's free , and gives us poker players a good feeling for doing our tiny part in helping people out. Takes like 30 seconds of your life every day when you open your email to click on them. What I am really impressed with is, he's a 26 year old guy with a girlfriend that cares about things like this. I might be more impressed about this than how good of a poker player he is lol . Got A Ticket Dammm

So I won a ticket today finally , well I think I have played about 6-7 of them so far but this is the first time I came in 150 or better to win a $109.00 ticket to enter the $150,000.00 Sunday Guarantee . I think 1st place is like $60.000.00 that would be sweet but I will prob be lucky to just sqooze into the money. I have some things to do tomorrow so prob enter in it next week .

And other than that, it has been fair at the  cash tables , I did have a two day span where I had 3 losing sessions in a row total of -$219.82 loss between 25nl and 50nl . Which kinda hurt but when playing 50nl you could lose $200.00 pretty dam fast . That is why having a somewhat good bankroll is important or at least the sense to stop and move down limits until you grind some of it back is so important. I  got it all back  and then some in the last 10 sessions so I feel good about that. That's about it , $109.00 ticket wee it will be my biggest by-in Tourney yet online . Should be fun  . Taking a shot at 50nl

So I have been tiptoeing and taking little shots at the 50nl tables this month. Just to get my feet wet and see what type of players are sitting at the tables . I think at certain times of the day you get lots of recreational players they really don't know the difference it's only a Quarter or Fifty cents why not sit down and play there . So you will find a lot of half stacks, guys that come in with $25.00 and sit down . The game seems to play out like 25nl so far. I have only put in 999 hands and have run really well so I expect the worse to come shortly lol as typical for me. And i am happy to say they have the Quadrabunga promo this month . I have flopped quads three times so far but all small ones , no face cards yet . 8888 for $10.00  , 3333 for $5.00 and 3333 again lol for $5.00 I'm not going to complain I love this promo .. Here are my sessions so far at 50nl lucky like I said so far.

Spinning My wheels

Man this month has just felt like I'm spinning my wheels . I played not a huge amount of hands it was

1. 28,982 Hands only made          $136.63 (depressing)
2. I flopped 6 flopped quads for    $260.00 (Happy)
3. And made Rakeback of            $164.90 
4.                         Total for           $561.53

Don't get me wrong I am happy with this but my win rate was horrible .Ev said I was $261.60 below which really sucks . And now the weather is starting to get nice so I am not sure how many hands I will put in the Month of May but I hope I play solid and might take a stab at 50nl . Other than that , it has been a pretty boring month but one thing after I posted my last Blog about Full Tilt there is news that the Tapie Group backed out and that Pokerstars is the next Co that might purchase it. Which would be a Win Win for everyone I truly think . Here is a link to some info on the Rumor. I hope we will soon find out . Can't really think of any tips to give you guys except just hang in there during the crappy times in poker and in the long run it will workout. below is graph of April it just started out downward then I really started pulling out of it and hit another Pothole that i had to climb out of .

            Just wish I would have kept Climbing, but wish in one hand and whatever in the other lol. There has been a couple a Regs I need to do more homework on to learn how to counteract against there plays, so I can get more out of them and they get less out of me . I have also been playing a couple of the Sunday MTT's one is 150 seats to the $109.00 150,000 gurantee which I win a free entry if i get 200vip points each week and i always do , and the other is the Sunday 20,000 gurantee Deepstack which i use 1100 Vip points to enter it every week . But ugh Tourneys Can just Drain you sometimes , Because I usually get pretty deep just not in the money so far on these . But I will just watch sooner or later I will run halfway good and get there . It's Been A year since Black Friday now ?

                                       
So yep it's been a year since Full Tilt was shut down . We have all heard rumors on the poker Forums that is has been bought by The Tapie Group and there is activity lately on the site . And they are hiring people , so who really knows and if they do get back up and running are they going to pay us back ? Will the Us players be able to play ? Hopefully soon we will find out but don't hold your Breath. Here is my last screen shot I took before it was closed down of my account .

                  Started out with $50.00 worked my azzz off to get it up to this , and there's tons of players with way more than this that used it for a living I feel Horrible for them . Most of you have heard me talk about it before so sorry. But figured since it was our one year anniversary we would bring it up ugh. So we will keep reading all the rumors and waiting with baited breath for something to happen . In the mean time Merge has been good to me so I am happy about that. Wasn't sure at first because of the lack of players there , seems to be getting more but still peaks about 14,000 during the playing hours which seems to have loads of Regs during then . I really like to wait later at night when the feesh come out to play lol . The other night there was a fish stacking another fish after only 95 hands the fish had over $215.00 I think that's the most I have seen a player have at the .25nl tables so far . I did win a buyin from him with KK lol he had like j4o allin pre lol . And lost a buy-in when all three of us got it in pre I had 1010 the guy that won had AQo pre hit the Queen and the other fish had like 27o or something stupid lol .
