Sitting out a Tourney

Well Played a $500.00 freeroll Tourney today there was 128 players paid top 25 players . It ended up being 27 left when I had to go to work, but I had just built up a huge stack .It Was 3x bigger than the biggest stack so I was chip Leader ugh, and had to go to work .So I left the Computer on hoping To get deep LOl . When I got home and looked I had Placed 4th LOL for $42.50 top place paid $100.50 So not too bad from not playing and beating another 23players lol . I imagine a lot of the players were fighting over stealing my blinds and got their selves  in trouble with other players. The cash tables I am still struggling a bit and they just wiped out my player base on one of the poker sites because they classified me as an advance player so separated me from normal players how stupid is that. Time to find another poker site I guess. Sorry I don't really have much more to write about .

March " Climbing the Ladder Again"

My game since late Summer has been pretty sad. The table selections are slim , and the regs seem to own me at 25NL  and above . Here's a graph below of my last 1/2 million hands, so I only made money on rake, bonuses and promo Tourneys .

I Feel like I have put in so much time and work trying to improve my game but the results are so upsetting. I always try to have a positive attitude but then it will get crushed in a long Session . I know my two biggest weaknesses at playing poker is playing long sessions and not stopping when I am down more then 3buy-ins. It has always comeback to bite me . My most profitable game I play is the 10Nl game so I will keep grinding it then take my shots again . On a side note I did manage a bink in a tourney this month. Made 8th place for $34.00 . So right now on one poker site I have $80.00 in the act and another site I have $300.00 hope to grind it up over the $1,000.00 mark soon on both acts. I will post when I reach each $100.00 mark like I use to . Here I come $400.00 weeeeeeeeeeee Thanks for reading , Chris

Carbons Big Ticket $100K Gtd tourney

Well I earned enough Vip points last week to enter the 100 seats to the Sunday $100,000 Gtd tourney . They had the Sat tourney you have to place in the top 100 to get a $109.00 ticket for the Sunday Gurantee or you can just pay the $109.00 to enter it. So there was 1773 players that entered , and I was one of the top 100 finishes. This will be my second $109.00 ticket I have won so far. I prob wont play it tomorrow but will let everyone know how Deep I get when I do play it.

       

Tip Of the month

            So since I had to get moved to a new poker Skin I had to pick a new username . One thing you want to do is not have it poker related . Why you ask ? well the regs will instantly know you are not a recreational player with a name like (Grinder) or (rounder) but if you decided to take a shot at a new level and had a name not poker related the regs for the most part have no clue about you . Just watching a bunch of poker videos of guys always reading off names then saying yea he's prob a Recreational player is going to give us just a little bit of an edge when we first sit down at a unfamiliar new level .
 Also I have noticed in the videos they pay atenton to how much you buy in  for. So if you buy in for max they instantly think your a reg but if you buy in for like $24.89 or like $24.93 at a $25.00 table they think your a recreational player in many of the videos I have watched. So lately I have my auto top still on, but it is set to auto top at only like 98% of the max so it's like around $24.91 or something which gives them an instant impression when your moving up in stakes at first . Eventually in enough hands they will prob see your stats and then figure you are a reg also. But it might give you just a slight edge at first as to being the unknown at the table. What ! not again Grrrr

Yea , so Dec started off where I was winning again but at lower stakes , then on Friday Dec 14th I go to log into my act and get this message below .

           Really ? We just went through the Black Friday Thing with Full Tilt and my $1,500.00 is still locked up  and now this . So I go to the link find another preferred partner which is Carbon Poker on the Merge Network  , I setup a new act there then Email there Support. And wait , hmm nothing so Email them again and again then they send me a follow up LKblahblah blah ref # and wait .So finally like three days later they transfer all my funds but then I have to ask about the 35% Rakeback I was getting from RPM . And same thing wait then a couple days later They say I have my RakeBack 35% and vip points transferred . I hope things are settled for now . And at least I am still able to grind some poker . Very disappointing being a US Poker player right now .  Hope everyone enjoys there Holidays and spending some time with Relatives and Family the next few days .  Thanks , Chris

Sugar Ray Concert And some Poker

So Sugar Ray is a 90's band that came to Spirit Mtn Casino Friday Night. The wife and I went for the weekend and had a blast , great seats 10rows back and in the middle . For Mark Macrath being 44years old he did a great job . He likes Boxing so he named his Band Sugar Ray After Leonard . They play songs from one end of the spectrum to the other.

     After the concert wife went and played the slots and I played some $1-3nl . Only bought in for $120.00 made around $135.00 then stopped for the night . Next day we did some outlet shopping in Lincoln City Oregon , then went out on the beach for a short time it was cold, and  ran back up to get a spanish coffee to warm us up.  Then went and played more poker lost about the amount I won the day before so broke about even.

So one amazing thing I seen at the table was this hand . I put it in the replayer might not be 100% exact stack sizes , but the guy with the best Hand mucked  it on mistake.
                     
Well The guy with two pr K/3 said on the turn really all-in? you on a draw? And the other guy says nope I don't need the draw I have the best hand your on the draw. So the guy calls and river comes 3 and he yells yea full house baby , Well the guy mucks his 10's full and the guy with 3s full pulls in pot and says what did you have ? And the guy says, well I had you beat till the river , I had a set of tens .LOL everyone at the table is like nooooo Wayyyyyy? You had the best hand and the guy says no I just had three tens . And we say ,yea you filled up 10s full lol so the look on his face is like what the heck did I just do. And the guy said you really had pocket tens ? And he said yep. So the guy says here man we chop it , the guy said no it's my own fault I mucked them .No I am fine  . Then the dealer says you can't give him your chips you have to do that outside the table . So the guy pulls out a $100.00 bill and says sir here man I feel horrible .

 The gentleman said no son, thanks but my fault . So he buys back in for like $70.00 and losses it pretty soon after . And the guy said ok good playing take care but the other guy refused and said sit back down I want you to play . here's $100.00 and kept arguing so the guy finally says I'm not gonna refuse the tenth time so he sits back . He gets QQ about ten hands later and loses but left very plesantley . The other guy was a recreational player just having a good time also he played almost every pot, well prob every pot lol . He was up to like $800.00 at one point and was so happy, he's like look at this, look at all these chips how does this happen. But later on about an hour he had about $400.00 or less . I wish I could have stayed longer.

But in the back of my mind I was thinking ,would feel kind of bad to felt such a good hearted person . We all told him when he was giving the guy the $100.00 none of us even seen his hand . But everyone thought for sure the guy had 10s ,the way he took his ball cap off and turn beat red when we were telling him he had the best hand lol. So if you ever get in a showdown playing live poker be sure to just flip those cards over next to you unless you know 110% for sure you have lost . I did something like this similar a few years ago. About a $50.00 pot the guy says he has two pair and I just paired my A with a Q kicker, but me not paying attention that the board had a pair on it I mucked my cards . Then right after that i'm thinking what the heck did I just do. Never told anyone at the table lol. Christmas is already here

So November is over and done . Went ugh ok I guess , and just got a check in the mail from Merge so ended up buying a 24" tv/ monitor sweet.

   So, I have my 17.3" laptop and my new 24" monitor to play online with.

And had a little extra left over to Buy a Sound bar with a subwoofer for the 42" tv I bought with my last poker check.

 So feels like Christmas has already come for me , now I need to start shopping for the wife and kids lol.

Boost up the Bankroll

Well, I used up some of my VIP Points to enter this $11.00 tourney and Ran deep, placed 3rd out of 163 players  for $240.00 which will help the Bankroll a little bit . Other than that my cash game sessions this month are still not going to well . But I feel the cards will start holding for me soon. I have a hard time staying positive but I have been using my 3 buyin stop loss rule this month and that has helped a bunch . You can always win back 3 buyins within a day or two , but if you just keep getting stuck in a 6-7 buyin session it's tough to make it back up later I have noticed at least for myself ..

I Also got in the money on a few other ones with using my VIP points this  month.

So have had some good relaxing time playing the MTT's well i'm not grinding the cash tables . Not much else to say about my poker game just trying to build up my bankroll , but some money should be coming soon to get one or two 24" monitors to add to my 17.3" laptop . I don't know what to do Fckkkkkkkkkkk me

I am pretty much totally frustrated with the game right now. I haven't done this bad in a year. I am so upset with the game right now I have changed hand opening  ranges, tried everything I know. But can't win lately . I totally have lost my self confidence at the tables seems I lose period doesn't matter what I do period . Beginning of last month I was up pretty good than shit went right down hill . The table selection sucks right now and I am also having to play 6max which sucks ass poker . Guess it doesn't matter though cuzz I have sucked lately. i am taking out $300.00 to buy a bigger monitor maybe two 24" ones not sure yet . But have to play 10nl right now until I build my shit bankroll that I have left back up. Not much else to say but I really hate poker right now and have never felt this way before about it . One thing I am doing if I get bad beat at the table is to instantly stop and do 15 situps before I get back up and play again lol . So at least I am getting a lot of exercise in since I get bad beat almost every hand now . Hope everyone else's game is going going way better than mine. Chris : ( :(

Hmm whatever that means lol. Guess DOJ will have to answer us about getting back our money hopefully . Poker for this month started out really well but the last two days kicked my butt so I am only up a little right now . Just wish the cards would hold when Im favored 72% plus on the turn and then the horrible player catches ugh one of those months.

Well Like I said I have been working on my Sons Vw Bus with him and not spending too much time at the tables . And when you come back to playing at least for me seems like I don't like to lay down hands and play more hands and get myself in tough spots alot. So Last month I ended up playing 38,843 hands but had my worst losing month ever . Which I haven't had too many losing months at all I should prob figure out how many winning ones and losing ones total I have had . Like a Football team record WINS and LOSSES lol . So I dropped down to 10nl until I get my Bankroll back to $600.00 then will be back at 25nl tables I am at around $554.00 right now. One cool note is I played the VIP Last Sunday of the month tourney And got into the money

Not a big win But 1st placed paid $550.00 there were 298 players I came in 16th for $20.00 So felt good about getting deep  Just ended up having chipstack pretty low and QQ utg shipped it and guy called pre with KK oh well at least he didnt have Ace rag and hit . Other than that just gotta start winning .
