I started off March just killing the game. I was up over 30+ buy-ins by the third week, but the last week coolered me big time,still made money , so i am not sure if i will make it to $1600.00 to move up this month or not. I feel i will fall a little short but who knows.
Heres a hand today,that wow i was ahead till the turn ,we both got our money in on the turn and now i have a 2% chance to catch a 5 on the river and it comes LOL. So this is a good start for April so far weeee.
April has been brutal so far lol. I am up 6 dollars for the week now, so I grinded the swing back to a profit now!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck moving up, I hope you do well. NL25 is the first stake I think really tests a players ability. Hell, NL10 Rush is full of solid position players and I am learning a ton already from that level. You raise early position with AQ you better hope you hit because it takes two barrels to get these guys to fold subpar holdings and I think we are going to see more and more of that when we move up. People playing position with junk and testing you ability to fire.
Thanks Traggy, I am sure we won't have to change our games to much to be a winning player at .10-.25 i have been studying player styles as much as i can to be prepared for whats to come :) :)... Looks like theres still tons of donks at that level also. Now if my cards hold against them and they don't catch river is another story of my poker Life..they say if there was no river there would'nt be any Fish LOL...
ReplyDeleteI was looking in Poker Tracker last night. I have had River three outers galore lately and I just had to look at my all in EV again. I normally do not do this, but I just had to see. Over the last 100k hands I am almost 240 dollars below EV. I never use to have this happen and in the past before this last 100k hands I was always right there with EV or a little bit above it.
ReplyDeleteI take this as a good sign, that I am consistently getting my money in correctly. What worries me though, is these are the hands that have to hold when moving up because our BR will get nailed from crap like this. I will probably be at NL25 in about two months, but will definitely be at Rush.
Use the Cash game tickets yet? I made 40 off of them last night lol. No risk money = awesome.
Yea i lost a lot of money on AK off late last month. And i always believe you should be close to EV when playing your best. Not sure about cash games tickets ?? You mean Ironman tickets the bronze silver gold??
ReplyDeleteNo, they are like tournament tickets. It is something new that came with the last patch from Full Tilt. You buy them with FTP points and use them to buy into cash games.
