Climbing the staircase $900.00 club
It's been a hard battle so far at .5-.10 games but just squeezed into the $900.00 club today..
We will be partying at the $1,000.00 when i get there. Just stay focused with the ups and downs little by little you can Grind from the bottom up,

ReplyDeleteBeen having a 50k break even stretch that I am trying to get through. I am still hovering at $500. Had my worst day every today!
Lost around $50 at NL5, was utterly ridiculous. I made back half tonight, but it has been a major struggle this month!
Thanks, last month was a tuff one for me. A 10 buy-in loss in a day really is tuff . How many hands did you get in with a 10 buy-in loss??
ReplyDeleteI got in around 10k. There were two that I should have folded. One of which, was KK < AA and AA was the only hand he could of had since he four bet me then pushed the flop. Like I said though, I made half of it back for a 5 buy in loss for the day. Just had one of those set over set days..
ReplyDeleteThe one that got me though, was KK < 54. Pot was almost $30 bucks, so that counts for 3 buy ins. The pots I lost were huge.

Limp UTG, Both players I saw ahead had HUGE three bet and High VP. Naturally, I get raised, but then the other fish reraises. I repop, knowingly that I would be called. So pot is around $3.00 now. Dry board comes out, all low, and I fully expect a set to me non existent. I pot bet. Call, Call. 5 on the turn. I push, call, call. Guy turned over 54, for two pair, and I lose and this is how you lose 10 buyins. LOL
Nice blog and good job with the poker. And ya, Dusty is the man, my poker hero also. That pay it forward thing he did really says it all.
